Question for any one that has done a GPT conversion.
If you take partition images from a MBR disk can they be restored to a GPT disk?
I was thinking of using some thing like
Shadow protect. http://www.storagecraft.com.au/shadow_protect_desktop.php
If any one has done this i would love to know what software you use?
Akin2Silver, you should ask them, pose the situation and what you can do with their tool(s) to solve it.
I did a little googling and found this software, that will let you do a non-destructive conversion from MBR to GPT - YMMV - I haven't used it
