You can use any BIOS of 209 or later, tho 213 is most recommended

Follow the directions as in the OP, but just add the contents of fix_od2 package, and use the od2.bat for running the update. There's no need to run the other flashes, just this one.

Just wanted to say thanks Chastity. I started doing some folding on my Laptops 5870M and started getting the GSOD. I flashed the bios to the one you have provided on the OP and the issue is now gone. Although I did not use the USB method it is a little easier to use TechPowerUp Radeon Bios Editor v1.27 to flas the bios. You can get it here http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads...tor_v1.27.html Any way Thank You.

G73JH, 211, ccc of 11.2, GSOD or freeze at least once a day. Followed this guide to update vbios, then updated bios to 213. No GSOD, Furmark: no problem, smokin Ceph in Crysis 2 for two days with no GSOD. Thanks Team ROG. You guys rock!

I would just like to thank you. I have had problems with this Laptop since I bought it. Some games wouldn't run on the older Asus reference drivers, and when I would update my driver I would get the GSOD or a deterioration of the graphics on my screen in explorer. I did exactly as you recommended and now I updated my drivers to 11.4 and have had no troubles, and have noticed a significant frame rate increase. I am glad I stumbeld onto this site.

That has to do with Power Management and the bus. After a long thread, it's best to just leave it alone, since the only cure was to disable Power Management.

Thank's. Lot of people says that there is no problem with SSD on G73JH. So I'll try to buy one, and try it myself. Actually i really want to buy G74
