Use a FAT32-formatted USB thumbdrive. Using any kind of NTFS-formatted drive greatly increases the chance of flashing failure (and bricking the BIOS).

You really don't need to use 3rd-party utilities to find or install updates. In fact, you're apt to have a more stable system if you (1) minimize the number of extraneous programs and utilities, and (2) choose drivers deliberately and install them manually.

The easiest way is to go to Windows Update, where it should be listed in the "Optional" section. If not, here's a direct download.
