Voltage not applying, Maximus V Formula

I'm trying to drop the VCore a little to see if I can remain stable at lower Voltage. I manually set it to 1.25 in BIOS, but when I get to desktop & check with CPUZ it's @ 1.35. Any idea why this is?

Hello DeadMedic

Are you hitting F10 and Enter to save and exit?
If you are saving it and it is not applying the changes in cpu-z, you could try another version of cpu-z, if that doesn't work try updating the bios.

It also depends on your LLC setting, your chip might need that 1.35 and the LLC is compensating.
I'd rather be a smartass than a dumbass!!!
