Crosshair 4 easy OC bios profiles.

First off lets start with the usual disclaimer.

Overclocking voids your warranty. ASUS nor myself will be held reponsible for damages to your hardware etc etc etc

Now that thats all done with lets explain what i'm doing here. These are moderate OC profiles for gamers. Yes I'm sure anyone that is an overclocker can come up with same setiings. Thats great some people can't and would like to keep it simple. That is the entire purpose of this and not all cpu's are equal for that purpose i have toned them down to take the "bad apples" into the equasion.

You will likely need a slight upgrade from the stock cpu cooler.

You must pay attention to the profile as many of these will be memory model specific.

For these current profiles you must be using a CH4F, you must use bios 0905, you must use the exact model of memory.

I'm sorry but, I prefer to play games without overclocking.

why not take advantage of free mhz?
    ASUS is pronounced "Ay-SOOS"
    ROG should be pronounced "R - O - G"

I use to game heavy myself and while I undersand where your coming from, I kept certain aspects in mind when making these. Example of that being I use to run a Q6600 system at 3.6 daily and play for a clan in clan matches, with all the vent stuff going on and heavy action I would drop internet or crash. Since then I have become rather conservative for 24/7 daily use and these profiles take that into consideration.

Atm the only thing comparable I have is CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 which is a 2x2gig 8-8-8 kit.

I am just now realizing how cool it will be that I can download and tweak other peoples profiles. How cool. 90% of the tweaking is done for me... Yes I am that lazy kind of overclocker that normally copies settings from others in random youtube videos. (I just ordered my Crosshair board yesterday from tiger direct.)

As the OP stated, Must have the same MOBO, memory, and most importantly the SAME BIOS version.
