Hi Right now I have the crosshair IV with a damaged 965 amd phenom 2.This cpu works good as is for what I need from it like games.Were the cpu is damge means the last 2 ram slots do not work so I wasn't able to use all 8 gigs and im down to 4.My question is if I got 2x4gig would that be my solution to having 8 gigs because some games need 8 not 4 or would I need to be using all slots to get the full use of 2x2 for 8 gigs??
