I built this computer back in 2012
not my first build probably my 5th or 6th
I've been using this computer for the last 2.5 years fine no problems all factory settings no tweaking or OC,
last time i turned it on was probably around Christmas. I went to turn it on this morning and I got no post no boot and just a black screen. Im currently using two Samsung 22" and 24" one is which is hdmi converted to DVI and one DVI all ran on same gpu no sli.
I just recently before posting this got a chance to crack open the case and start the process.
I tried unplugging everything and power cycling with just basic SSD GPU and MOBO/CPU.
Cycled the ram in different slots.
Reset the CMOS Bat.
CMOS Reset Button on back for 3-5 Seconds before boot.
Unplugged gpu and tried to run straight from onboard HDMI.
all with no luck, what will happen is everything will power on and in about 5 seconds it powers itself down and powers back up and
will stay on but no post or mb sounds and screen stays black no boot.
Figured I would give the forum a shot before starting to replace hardware and waste money
Your help is much appreciated! 🙂
