    Gamers OC Preset Help

Running the i7-3820 on a Rampage IV Formula and was trying out the "Gamers OC(4.7Mhz)" preset profile.
Now my rig should be more than capable to handle the OC but for some reason it only gets 4.3Mhz and Not 4.7Mhz???
    Sure Im missing something?

Probably because you are using a 3820 which is CPU multiplier limited.

    solution?

Thanks for the quick reply man.

Is there a way around it? As I'm sure you've seen that this chip can be OC'd to 5Mhz.
Id be happy with between 4.5Mhz or a 4.7Mhz.

    Thanks again.

You'll have to use a combination of multiplier, straps (whatever you have available) and BCLK. I would use the 125 strap to get the frequency if you can - can't recall what the max multiplier ratio is on these CPUs as I have never used one. In BIOS you can see the target CPU frequency in the top left hand corner of the screen.
