I took another look at the link and it was just some garbage advertising for something called "Driver Download." My apologies; DO NOT USE THAT LINK!!!.
thanks. Fyi, I actually went back and did another search on google with the following search string (asus + windows 7 drivers + official + g75vw) and found the direct Asus site link for Windows7/8 drivers for the G75VW:
The one gotcha mentioned in another thread is the wireless adapter (802.11ac); I overlooked this and wasted 1hr and some change searching. It's actually a Broadcom 43162 802.11ac wireless adapter that someone had previously pointed out as well:
Although I finally got it recognized, I still don't think I've got the appropriate hot keys loaded; I'll chime back once I've got the part straightened out.
Hot keys would be the ATK package of drivers I don't believe that Asus put an .ac Wireless card in the G75VW so you would be on your own as to getting the correct drivers for this add on Wireless card

Correct you are regarding the ATK package for the hotkeys; I did a reinstall and it looks like I'm in the clear 🙂 Additionally, the wireless driver link I included in my previous post is legit; the G75vw came with an onboard wireless NIC (Broadcom 802.11ac):" http://www.techcular.com/asus-g75vw-specifications/
For more information on your G 75 see the forum that cover is https://rog.asus.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?114-Older-G-Series-Notebooks we have been set back into the older G notebooks just recently. That's interesting that you got a G75VW with an ac wireless. I didn't think they had that until the G75VX most of us only got N cards.
