    DangerDen ROG Case Build

    Here are some pictures of the build process

    Hardware Specs:
    CPU: Core i7 875K
    Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus III Extreme
    Graphics: ASUS NVIDIA GTX 480
    Memory: Corsair 4GB 2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz
    Power supply: 600W SLI and Crossfire edition
    Optical: ASUS SATA BluRay drive
    Peripherals: PCI Wireless N card
    Storage: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 32MB Cache
    Case: DangerDen tower 16 "Nightmare" with smoke windows

    The Hardware Buffet

    Asus Maximus III Extreme Motherboard and ASUS GTX 480 NVIDIA graphics card

    unboxing of the Danger Den case

    Nicely wrapped acrylic panels, complete with fasteners and I/O bracket

    very neat individual packaging of assembly components

    Assembly manual

    remove the clear wrap from the packaged panels

    Layout all of the components in preparation for the build

    Pealing off the protective acrylic cover

    remove the protective cover from all panels













    insert provided nuts into the precut holes and secure with mounting screw

    Begin assembly with the front face of the Danger Den case and Motherboard tray

    Tighten the front screws

    Front panel and motherboard tray

    line up metal I/O panel on rear acrylic panel

    insert I/O screws into panel and tighten







    Next install the Power supply support plate and left side support panel

    why the stock cooler?
    ASUS is pronounced "Ay-SOOS"
    ROG should be pronounced "R - O - G"

    This rig was built as a gaming system for Starcraft II

    I will have another guide for installing after market cooling
