What is the max. HDD I can put in my laptop?

I have a 512 SSD and a 1Tb HDD.
I want to replace the 1 Tb for a 2 Tb. Can I just go ahead with that?

Thanks

I Saw a WD Green WD20NPVX - Hard drive - 2 TB - internal - 2.5" - SATA-600 - buffer: 8 MB for $167

Sure if you can find a 2.5 " x 9.5mm form factor you can. You also can take out your DVD drive and get a caddy off ebay and put a hard driver there too I think it still has to be not thicker than 9.5mm thick. I haven't really looked at what is available in 2 TB drives but last I did they are 13MM I think.
I just checked out the M9T ST2000LM003 and it says its 9.5mm with that slow 5400 a driver I think I would go for the DVD drive replacement.
