When I get reeeally sad about missing someone far away, I just take a deep cleansing breath, then switch to the rifle with a scope.
How about putting info on the contest on the ROG home page and encourage ROG members to vote on the best wallpaper maybe offer one lucky voter a chance to win a BF3 code also.
I'm in for that, already have a few. They're fairly simple though.
