USB3 Ports disconnects, reconnects, disconnects and so many times...

Hello! I have a new PC (assembled two months ago) and I have this configuration:

Windows 8.1 64bit - Case CoolerMaster Storm Advanced Scout 2 - PSU CoolerMaster 750W [G750M] - MB Asus Maximus VII Gene - RAM 16 GB [DDR3] - Intel Core i7@ 3.60 Ghz [4790] - Cooler NOCTUA [NH-U12S] - DVDRW DL LG [GH24NSB0] - BD-RE DL LG [BH10LS38] - HD WD 3 TB [WD30EFRX] - HD WD 2 TB [WD20EZRX] - SSD SAMSUNG EVO 850 500GB [MZ-75E500B] - Monitor PHILIPS 24 HD [243V] - Speakers Logitech [Z200] - Keyboard & Mouse Logitech [MK120] - Microphone/Headphones PHILIPS - Printer Brother [DCP 195C]

My problem is that when I plug a usb3 hard drive into usb3 ports disconnects and reconnects and so many times. I tried to update the AshMedia USB 3 drivers without lucky and now I have no idea to solve my issue. Someone has the same problem as mine?

If yes how solved? I tried with several disks and cables and I have the same issue every time...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you tried different USB3 ports, such as ones on the motherboard rear I/O?

To me, an intermittent signal (especially one which repeatedly resets the device and reinitiates the enumeration protocols) suggests an electrical failure, maybe you're using chassis USB3 ports which aren't properly USB3-compliant?

The drive itself might be a dud, or might not be receiving adequate power or something. Does it work in USB3 ports on other computers?

seems it's a bug of asus motherboard...

For replying to your question I tried all usb 3 ports and I tried with all my usb disks. Only usb 2 hard drive are working well. I think that's a problem of chipset of usb3 controller related to asmedia on asus motherboards....

tell me if I wrong... I'm thinking to replacing my mobo with a gigabytes...

Thanks.
