    ROG Thunderbolt Audio

    Hi

Well, My machine got finished tonight, all bar one thing working properly.

I've got the Rampage III Black Edition and installed the Thunderbolt card. The network part is working fine, but I cannot install the audio drivers. I keep getting the error that I need to connect power, usb and AAFP cable.

I've definitely got the power connected, the thuiderbolt label lights up
I've got the USB connected and tried both USB headers on the bottom of the board
I've got a HAF X case and tried the front panel audio connector on both HD & AC 97 but the driver will still not install

    Any advice?

Hi celticguy75 - is there any chance you could take a picture of the card and where it's connectors have been plugged? You can attach it to your post.

Thanks. Strangely enough this is how I fixed it

Install the latest Beta drivers & they installed, but still gave the same error. Then I ran the windows device manager driver update and this installed fine. Weird.
