ASUS is pronounced "Ay-SOOS"
ROG should be pronounced "R - O - G"

wteo40,
You can trust without any doubt Brian and Gary, they are Asus parts.
“I” call this vBios “beta” as it is not yet uploaded on the Asus support website. But any way it is the official fix from Asus.
Sorry if I got you confused with this naming (beta).
vBIOS history:
Chastity: " @Yuna44: Here's a quick review of the vBIOS History:
HYN vBIOS is an alpha vBIOS
SAM vBIOS is first Beta
v93 vBIOS is 2nd Beta, and now is bumped to final "
Brian and Gary I don't want to start a pissing match but if this was a true offical vbios release it would be on the asus support web site and not hidden on a forum. There are indeed people in the world that will not download off a forum for fear of software hacks and do not want to have a 2 to 6 week wait for a simple vbios update to take place by RMA. What seems to be the problem with placing the vbios on the offical asus support web site?
Up. Just to keep it at the first page.
Am I able to do this vBios update with an SD card, DVD, or CD? I don't have a flash USB-drive available at the moment. When I go into the bios, I am unable to find an option to boot from the SD card slot. But I will do it with a CD or DVD if it's possible. Thanks in advance.
