Hello guys,

Sorry for the lame question, but I have to know. Now I use Strix 7.1 gaming headset plugged into USB 2. Will it work if I plug it in USB3? I know that theoretically it should be compatible, but I read on the internet that sometimes it does not work. Anyone using them with USB3?

For sure the headset will work with USB 3.0 ports. You need to make sure that you have correct USB 3.0 drivers installed for your motherboard and it should work fine.

Hello I own myself these headphones, connecting them to USB 3.0 ports, I found some problems, are now connected to the USB 2.0 in my Asus Rampage V Extreme card.
I opened this forum also a new discussion of the problem I found with these headphones, sometimes you restart as if someone would connect to the USB port.
Possible that Windows 10 is the problem?

ASUS Strix 7.1 with USB 3?
