No. Some of the reviews state 580 SLI is still faster than a single 7970

Just got my GTX590. Will not be upgrading for a while. Regret that I did not grab a MARSII when they were available

It's possible I just don't understand it but, from what i see I don't like the connectivity options at all.

In what way? What connections do you need? Most can be inter-converted.

MarshallR, I personally don't like the one trend AMD has done and that's Display Port, all of the monitors I have are ether HDMI or DVI I have yet to get a monitor that supports Dell's Standard...but Personally I'd rather see Lights Peak come in to being which would be able to Daisy Chain I don't know how many monitors together and still have enough speed to handle E-Net at above 1gbps along with SATA 6 or better along with a whole bunch more...Remember Final Spec is set for 100GBps....Otherwise I can't fault AMD Video at all.

Well, from the way it looks, I Would have to buy two active mini-displayport to DVI converters to hook up my 3 DVI monitors. I wish there were more cards being made with 3 like connectors so people wouldn't have to worry about that vertical tearing issue that plagues some eyefinity set ups (Mine included).
