Temps still high after cleaning

Hi,

When I first bought my computer (in my signature) I had temperatures of 20-23 on idle (stock clocks).
Last week I completely disassembled every piece and thoroughly cleaned it with an air compressed can

I even cut open my cpu to switch the cooling paste between the cpu, perfectly cleaned all the parts and it's as good as new now.
Also repasted my video card.

But still... It's idling around 30-33 (stock clocks), when I disable X.M.P. it becomes even colder (27-30)

How come I can't get back to that glorious low temperature? (My room is on the third floor under my desk.

I was also wondering if my airflow is okay:

My side panel blows air inside

I'd love to hear some solutions, thank you.

Hello piotrtekian

Your cpu was probably throttling down with temps of 20c - 23c, check to see if your cpu is still throttling down at idle. Tell us the speed and voltage at idle.

Someone said that the sensors are calibrated now and that they weren't showing proper values before. Is that correct?

I would think the temp sensors are calibrated from the beginning unless there was an issue and was addressed with a bios update. I use real temp 3.70 for cpu temp monitoring and ROG cpu-z for cpu voltage and memory timings/settings.

So is your cpu throttling down at idle? Tell us the speed and voltage at idle please, this will tell us a little more.

rebooted, powerplan at power saver, temps didn't go lower than 29 degrees on all 4 cores in RealTemp @ 4.4GHz with a vCore voltage of 1.26 and a Load Line Calibration on High.

With your cooler that's about where I would expect temps to be overclocked to 4.4GHz. Is your 3770k throttling down or is it constantly running at 4.4GHz?

If it's constantly running at 4.4GHz and you want it to throttle down set the windows power plan to balanced or power saver as you've done, in the bios enable speed step and make sure the c1e state is enabled under cpu configuration. This will throttle down your cpu which will drop temps more but your temps look fine to me.
