G550 Keyboard light not working after motherboard replacement

Hi everyone

Just had my motherboard replaced on my G550 (for the second time!), and the keyboard lights are no longer working.

- Other keyboard special functions ARE working, including screen brightness, wifi on/off, etc, and I've turned on the ASUS on screen thingy, which shows up for those functions but not when I try the keyboard light keys.

- The keyboard doesn't flash when I reboot.

- I've tried reinstalling the ATKPackage - no change.

- BIOS is at the latest version

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

happens with me too
service center says it's because there is some installtion required to work in it
don't know exactly the name but it must be it
