Flash player crashed in Firefox

I have a ASUS STRIX RAID DLX. When I want to play In Firefox a video with Flashplayer, the player immediately after the start crashes. This happens in both the 32 and the 64 bits version of Firefox.
I tried it in the versions 43, 44, 45 and 46 of Firefox. After I removed the audiodriver the video could be played without any problem.
Does anyone know this problem and how to solve it? I've this problem with all drivers under Windows 10. I only used Windows 10.

I have the same bug. My soundcard is ASUS Strix Soar.

Firefox 47, 32-bit, Flash plugin always crashes when trying to play sound - in Flash videos or when trying to play a Flash game with sound.

There could probably be several reasons:
1) A bug in Strix audio driver (ASUS's fault)
2) A bug in Flash plugin (Adobe's fault)
3) A bug in Firefox itself (Mozilla Foundation's fault)
4) A bug in Windows 10 sound subsystem (Microsoft's fault)

Or even a combination of bugs in these software.

Hi Egbert Jan 😉

Adobe flash player have new beta versions of flash player to address issues in Chrome and Firefox.
Go here to see if the new versions fix your problems: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html
I installed all three for W10 and resolved my problem.
Delete Flashplayer before installing Beta version and reboot after install.
Hope it works for you.

I tried beta 22.0.0.207 and release 22.0.0.209 (for some reason stable Flash plugin is newer than beta).
Both still crash for example at http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/677774 (flash video in the link)

Another forum member says it (Flash plugin crash in Firefox) also happens on his integrated sound card on ASUS MAXIMUS VIII HERO motherboard. The common thing is that they (both HERO integrated and Strix) both have Sonic Studio software for the sound.

http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?86449-MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO-Sonic-Studio-Crashing-Firefox-Flash...

He said the crash no longer happens if you turn Sonic Studio off. But I tried exitting this program from memory and Flash still continued to crash.

Okay, now I tried it again and I think that new version of Flash has fixed the crash.
