After successfully updating Windows 10 Pro x64 today with cumulative update KB3194496 (Version 1607 Build 14393.222) my Strix Soar stopped working after Windows restarted my PC. I checked under settings>devices>connected devices>other devices and my Strix sound card was shown as having a driver error. I then checked under device manager and suddenly my Strix sound card had a yellow exclamation mark next it. I uninstalled the 1.1.7 driver and tried to reinstall it but if failed to work. Then I installed the original 1.0.9 driver on the second attempt and it worked. The problem for me is that with the 1.0.9 driver changing ANY setting such as profile, equalizer, etc. has NO effect at all. The 1.1.7 driver fixed this for me but now the 1.1.7 driver does not want to install. Please help.
