Thanks everyone! Getting ready to start a new build... i recently won a Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2, 8GB of HyperX RAM, and a Thermaltake 1000w PSU so I figured Id build a Folding rig with it all..

I believe he's referring to the connectors. By the way congrats on winning the hardware.

Ahhh that makes more sense LOL.. I use This tool.. But, most of my cables are custom made so there are not "ports" to remove...

Thanks for the congrats! Wish it was the RIVE but, free is free.. LOL

yeah . I'm still trying to locate the ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME/BF3 boards. No stock in the states but found some in Canada. Only issue they don't ship to the U.S.

They were a limited run weren't they.. If I'm correct you may have a hard time finding one... What's the difference between the BF3 and regular RIVE anyway?

Same exact board. Only difference is the BF3 version comes with a BF3 game code and BF3 lanyard. Other then those two things its the same exact board as the RAMPAGE IV EXTREME comes with same accessories only thing missing in the R4E accessories is the BF3 code and lanyard.

So, why the hold out? Bite the bullet and just buy the game separate.. LOL If it's that big a deal I can see if I still have any BF3 dog tags at the office and send you a set..

I don't play any PC games. I wanted that version to go with my theme build ROG with the air brushing of the BF3 army man on the side panel of the case.
