I think if you're absolutely desperate for a new card, don't hold out for this one now: get a Xonar of your choice. but if you're contemplating a upgrade post next gen Intel chips - keep this on your list.

Now that CEBIT 2012 is over, do you think you could give a better idea of when this beast of card will launch? I heard Asus did not have a booth at CEBIT, but I still figured I would ask :-)

I'm wondering the same thing. Teaser for it a few months back and now nothing. No word, no hints, its like they changed their minds about bringing it out.

I've just today confirmed the Phoebus should be with us by May (depending on your regional distribution speed), with some launch news eeking out in April.
