Grandpa Is building a new folding toy

Hi all just though I would let you all know I am getting ready to build a new folding rig. Thought I would post the hardware here and see what you all thought.

    CPU / 4 - AMD Opteron 6174's http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AM...TCEGOWOF).html

    Motherboard / SuperMicron http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/moth...x0/H8QGi-F.cfm

    Memory / 32GB Gskill 1333Mhz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231492

And of course my ASUS Matrix GTX 580 Platnimum

Redundant 1400W high-efficiency power supply with PMBus http://www.supermicro.com/products/p...S-1K41F-1R.pdf

    Cooling will eventually be liquid

Should have this puppy together in a couple of weeks. I am working on getting a modified bios for it that will allow a 12 1/2 % OC on it. The rig should be good for around 500,000+ PPD for around 700W.

Luckily where I live the average summer temp is 72F so it should not be too bad on most days. That and the fact that I am moving 3 other computers out of the office since there is not enough power in the room to run them all. I guess the next step will be adding more power to the room. My wife says I better start working so O.T. and do more honey doo's to pay for my toys and electricity. LOL I learned along time ago to say yes dear.

Thanks my wife said something about me being crazy

Using some parts I already have and buying CPU's pulled from servers on e-bay around $3000.00 US so not too bad. If you had to buy everything new retail around $7000.00
