If your SX is already running 2x4GB Vengeance try buying the same kit again for best compatibility.

When I get reeeally sad about missing someone far away, I just take a deep cleansing breath, then switch to the rifle with a scope.
It's just got 2x4gig sticks whatever comes standard in it.
Other option is I get 2x4gigs of the Kingston equivalent.

Strange, I didnt have any issues with Vengeance. It doesnt OC like some of the 2133 kits but for the price it is good mem. People just have to realize that it is sensitive to voltage (if you get the Micron chips) and 1.5v is plenty.

I think it's hit and miss Zac. One person might have things working fine while another ends up with a kit that barely hits the bin and a CPU IMC that is less than stellar = problems start. When you start working in any kind of support role that deals with high volume products, you soon realize that there is huge variance in parts. User error issues withstanding. That's when the context of "that's strange, it works fine for me", starts to get real hazy.

I've used corsair memory for a decade and never had an issue.

The last 3 sets I've had were bad or died way too soon(6months no OC'ing) but then I haven't had Corsair since DDR1 days, But I've seen tons of post all over the place about them more bad than good and getting worse... I guess it could just be from the quantity out there.
Has spent 10 hours today overclocking vengeance, like to lay my hand on the dominators later, just to see the difference..
1 time Dom for me......
