
ASUS ROG Summer 2012 is a world premiere StarCraft II tournament that gathers the elite among professional players, to fight for a slice of the incredible $30,000 USD prize pool. The show is hosted by community favorites 2GD, InControl and Soe, while the games are commented on by Apollo, TLO, Khaldor and Wolf.
The tournament starts today (2nd August at 14:00 EEST/GMT+3) and concludes on Saturday night (4th August).

On Saturday Jul 28th at DreamHack, Sweden, Johan “NaNiwa” Lucchesi and Kim “SaSe” Hammar take on the Nordic region’s best StarCraft II players in the StarCraft II World Championship Series 2012 Europe Finals, for a share of $30,000 in prize money. Both players are sponsored by ASUS ROG.
Nordic Hardware has recently published its preview of the upcoming Maximus V GENE ROG motherboard (bring your translator), along with an overview video of the motherboard below, showing its new specs and layout.

The much revered DirectCU II cooler from ASUS once again proved its worth. Over at Sweclockers the ASUS Radeon HD 7950 DirectCU II TOP was compared against another non-reference Radeon HD 7950 graphics cards, beating them by bagging the prestigious Top Class award from the reviewers.

Do not let the GENE’s mini size fool you into thinking its performance is in anyway lacking, as the guys over at TechSweden found out. They seemed suitably impressed, and gave the Rampage IV GENE a top mark rating of 5/5 and classified it as “A Performance Monster” motherboard.

ROG Nordic are at ASSEMBLY Winter 2012 from 24-25 February (this weekend!) hosting their usual StarCraft 2 Tournament, in association with Nvidia. With This event is a big one for StarCraft fans with top worldwide players attending, so if you can get there – do so early to get a good space!

ROG Stars Invite 2011 was the second ROG Stars eSports event this year. With eight of the worlds top eSports players dueling it out over StarCraft II in this invite-only, Single Elimination BO5/BO7 event, battling for a part of the $10,000 prize pool.
