ASUS has just launched its GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II graphics card; a custom two-slot cooler with CoolTech fan, DIGI+ VRM, Super Alloy hardware and POSCAPs underneath and a 6% faster boosted core clock speed to 1,020MHz on its 2,880 CUDA cores. During the Smash and Trash 13 overclocking event held in Zürich, Switzerland, ROG hardware was also used in order to smash 3DMark 03, 3DMark 05 and 3DMark Vantage Performance as well as Aquamark record, all thanks to impressive skill of Michel90 overclocker from Switzerland.
During recently held Smash and Trash 13 overclocking competition hosted by Ocaholic.ch, Semjons “TaPaKaH” Avdejevs and Marine managed to smash the CL5, CL6 as well as the CL7 world records showing that while the Maximus VI Impact might be a small motherboard, it definitely has it when it comes to memory overclocking!
