Nawaphat Phatchuay of HRC High Resolution Computer Builder and Business Owner/ Builder is one crazy guy! You’ll understand why when you check out his latest build; which is based on some of the most amazing ROG products ever made! He managed to squeeze so much epic hardware into a Cosmos 2 case, that it actually appears to be … full!
Seriously, it’s simply unbelievable how many beatiful rigs there are out there. Today we came across a build called Element Copper and it looks like the modder who created this thing of beauty was ahead of his time. Why? Well, he built a rig suitable for ASUS’ Gold Rush competition quite some time before it was launched!
We’re always hunting for some of the most awesome ROG builds, and this time we came across Mhike Smasin’s SilverStone Raven RV02 mod. Mhike decided to give the case a beautiful orange paint job and some high-end watercooling. His build is overall very clean and there has been a lot of attention to the fine details. For example, have a closer look at the power supply, or the SLI bridge – very nice!
See the gallery inside. Nice job, Mhike!
Paul has made yet another mod is a work of art – not only in design, but for technical achievements like rotating the DirectCU II graphics card 90 degrees to better show it off, and putting the sound card behind the motherboard! Using the Maximus VI Formula and DirectCU II graphics card, see the full spec and build pics inside.
Some of you might have seen recent research numbers from IDC showing that the desktop computer market is slowing down quarter after quarter, but luckily for us enthusiasts these results have nothing to do with the gaming sector, which is seeing double digit growth these days. With that in mind, it does not come as a surprise that there are quite a few great mods surfacing these days, including the quite impressive Project Hellion MK1 mod based on the ASUS ROG Maximus V Gene motherboard.
While browsing the web today, I came across a beautiful rig, which apparently, I have to share with you guys. The setup is from Malik Customs, which is an enthusiast from Czech who build really nice looking computers. The rig we’re talking about here is based on a Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 case. Inside there is an ASUS Radeon R9 280X DirectCU II graphics card.
Our friends at Parvum systems have again been testing the water with new case designs: this time ATX. With a Maximus VI Extreme for the innards and a big ASUS logo adorning the front, we’re watching this project with eagle eyes.
