ASUS has just launched its Xonar U7 USB sound device with headphone amplifier. While not ROG branded, the U7 has very clear audio at 114dB SNR, partly thanks to its Hyper Grounding PCB design (that was originally designed for the Xonar Phoebus) and a powerful 32ohm-1,50ohm headphone amplifier built in to really pump up the sounds to your (Vulcan or Orion) headset.

Bundled with the new Vulcan Pro and upcoming Orion Pro headset is the Spitfire USB audio dongle. While the headsets themselves can plug straight into 3.5mm audio jacks on your PC or notebook, the USB audio dongle adds an interim audio processor with buttons to enable its headphone amplifier, 7.1 virtualized surround and ‘FPS Mode’ tweaked audio.
The Vulcan Pro ANC Headset is here! Focus to win with the world’s only active noise cancellation for gaming and the driver-free ROG Spitfire USB audio processor!

The popular Vulcan headset has received an upgrade with the latest Vulcan Pro. This includes the new Spitfire USB dongle, which incorporates a headphone amp, 7.1 virtualized surround sound and FPS EQ tweaking, in addition to the active noise cancellation in the headset.
