gamescom 2016: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ROG Community Challenge & Ultimate PC Customizations

Republic of Gamers (ROG) announces the second ROG Community Challenge at gamescom 2016, it will be held from the 17th to the 21st of August, 2016 at the ROG booth at Halle 10 in Cologne, Germany.

After a successful start at Dreamhack Summer 2016, Team Captain Maikel “Maikelele” Bill managed to recruit five players for the Nordic team to compete in the Grand Finals for the Community Challenge, now it's time to recruit the second team out of a total of 8 teams.

Michele “zonixx” Köhler will be the Captain for the German team.  During the upcoming weeks leading up to the gamescom event Michele went through online auditions to find the first members of his team. At gamescom all visitors are welcome to visit the ROG booth to challenge each other and Michele in order to earn a spot in the team. The best gamers from gamescom will be invited to a bootcamp where the final selection will take place.

Join the Republic Community Challenge

The ROG Join the Republic Community Challenge is a Global Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition open for everyone to participate in. With 6 offline events at Dreamhack Summer, GamesCom, PAX West, Paris Games Week and PAX Australia gamers from around the world will compete for a place in their local team and trip to the Grand Final.

18th to 21st June 2016: DreamExpo at DreamHack Summer 2016 in Jönköping, Sweden

17th to 21st August 2016: gamescom 2016 in Cologne, Germany - Be there!

27th to 28th August 2016: Taipei Syntrend in Taipei, Taiwan

2nd to 5th September 2016: PAX West in Seattle, USA

27th to 31st October 2016: Paris Games Week in Paris, France

4th to 6th November 2016: PAX Australia in Melbourne, Australia

Ultimate PC Customization - Aura lighting synchronization & 3D-printing

ROG will showcase Aura lighting synchronization which allows PC components to display lighting in perfect sync, and also exciting 3D-printing for components and peripherals.
