ROG at Blizzcon 2011

The hugely anticipated BlizzCon 2011 had finally ended. This massive event which attracted over 30,000 gamers was held at Anaheim Convention Center, California on 21st – 22nd Oct. Needless to say ASUS ROG team in North America was one of the core partners for Blizzard this year, with Maximus IV GENE-Z motherboards at the heart of the sponsored demo machines. Attendees could feel the real ROG Experience during the event, as the ROG team displayed the very latest, ROG motherboards including the Maximus IV series, ASUS graphics cards including DirectCU II graphics cards, ROG MATRIX, the immense MARS II, the new VG278H 27 inch Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D Monitors and ROG Vulcan gaming headsets. ROG G74Sx and G53Sx gaming notebooks were also featured And everything was hands-on to try out. There was a live over-clocking station, where teamROG ran benchmarks using the Maximus IV Extreme-Z, an ROG Matrix and 3-way SLI. Many gamers claimed this was their very first time experiencing overclocking using liquid nitrogen. In a further perk for the gaming crowds, the ROG team held gave away prizes on the hour from 11am – 7pm,While around the corner of ASUS booth, gamers and attendees was encourage to leave their mark and sign on the ASUS ROG 5th anniversary wall.
