AMD has now officially launched its newest member of R7 series graphics cards: the 28nm 'Bonaire' based Radeon R7 260. It will hit retail/e-tailer at around US$110. The new R7 260 features slightly less stream processors and lower GPU clocks than the R7 260X, and as you'd expect its spec neatly fits between this and the R7 250 graphics card. It features 768 Stream Processors at 1000MHz, and it comes with 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and clocked at 6.0GHz. The R7 260 also features a slightly lower TDP at 95W than the 260X, and needs a single 6-pin PCI-Express power connector for power. AMD TrueAudio and Mantle as well as support for DirectX 11.2 and OpenGL 4.3 are also included. The suggested retail price from AMD is set at US $110 but expect to see custom designs with pricing around this area in the coming months. AMD-Radeon-R7-260X
