Nobody likes it when taking a plunge only to find out soon after their latest purchase has been superseded. Most of the time buyers are waiting for that next big thing. The wait is over and that time has come, in more ways than one. With the release of the latest ROG Z270 motherboards, ROG AM4 motherboards, and now the ROG Strix and ASUS GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards - it would be hard for anyone to disagree that this really is the best time to upgrade.

The new king of gaming power is here, and soon you can get your hands on the souped up versions from ROG Strix and ASUS for a whole new level of performance.

ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be beastier not just in raw performance, the 2.5-slot card allows for 40 percent more surface area for heat dissipation compared to the previous GTX 1080 version. The focus on cooling for silent operation and overclocking headroom is immediately noticeable. Beyond the increased surface area, ROG pushed the limits of efficiency by unveiling the all-new MaxContact, an optimized copper spreader that is in direct contact with the GPU for improved thermal transfer. MaxContact, together with three patented wing-blade 0dB fans help to ensure the card is 30 percent cooler and three times quieter than reference cards. To cool your card even furher, you can make use of the CPU- or GPU-controlled fan headers on the graphics card to allow ASUS FanConnect II to manipulate the airflow surrounding your card.

Auto-Extreme technology is back to ensure every card is produced with better quality and reliability. The 10+2 phases Super Alloy Power II components offer better overclocking performance and longevity.

Aura Sync for synchronized RGB lighting across all compatible components and peripherals. Two HDMI ports allow for both a VR headset and an HDMI monitor to be hooked up simultaneously without the need of extra adaptors.
