Latest Matrix Graphics Cards Get EK Water Cooled
EK has new water blocks in the works for GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II and ROG Matrix graphics cards:
| Graphics card | Water block | MSRP (incl. VAT) |
| ASUS GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II | EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII | 104,95€ |
| ASUS ROG Matrix GTX 780 Ti | EK-FC780 GTX Ti Matrix | TBA |
| ASUS ROG Matrix R9 290X | EK-FC R9-290X Matrix | TBA |
EK explains the water blocks are a high-flow design that directly cool the GPU, RAM as well as power hardware (VRM) areas and all water blocks will feature the EKWB side-attached Terminal port system where up to four graphics cards with water blocks can be used on a single ATX motherboard in quad-SLI/CrossFireX, connected via the EK-FC Terminal (dual, triple, quad versions are available).
EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII is scheduled for release on March 17th 2014 (today!) through the EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network. The EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII is designed for GeForce GTX 780 Ti version but is 100% backwards compatible with the non-Ti version of the ASUS DirectCU II card. In addition a new EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII Backplate is also due for release to complement it.
Both ROG Matrix R9 290X and GTX 780 Ti water blocks are due for release by early May.
