ROG Gladius First To Offer 2,000Hz USB Polling Rate
The ROG Gladius has just received a software update that enables 2,000Hz (0.5ms) USB polling rate. The standard mouse polling rate in Windows is just 125Hz (8ms), with gaming mice often supporting 500Hz (2ms) or even sometimes as fast as 1,000Hz (1ms), however with the ROG Armoury Driver 1.08 and upwards from the Gladius product page you can now enable the 2,000Hz option under the Performance tab (as below), enabling your mouse to update the cursor position every half-millisecond! The update is compatible with all modern motherboards using Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.
It's the first and currently the only gaming mouse on the market to offer the option. ROG to break the barriers again? You'd expect nothing less!
