NVIDIA: The PC Is Superior To Any Console
In an interview with MCV, NVIDIA's consumer sales manager Matt Wright said that the PC platform is definitely the gaming platform of choice, and while consoles do have their merits, the PC is still far superior and that the company is definitely on a path to make PC gaming as simple as possible, in order to appeal even to casual gamers. As a proof, he pointed at Steam that, according to Wright, now has more users than Xbox Live, and that there is a whole new generation of PC gamers that are not going anywhere.
In the same interview, Wright said that NVIDIA is proposing small form-factor PCs that should be a viable alternative to the next-gen consoles. He also noted that the PC platform offers all the extra functionality that a computer brings - multi-displays, multiple input methods, choice of speakers/headsets etc; and it is definitely the ultimate gaming system for enthusiast players.
