The new ROG Rampage V Edition 10 is the culmination of experience over a decade, and the latest technology to harness for the first time power from 10-core, 40-lane processors and graphics cards in 4-way SLI. Never have you had this much power (check out our new overclocking/world records page) and never has a motherboard looked this good (we think so anyway)! Take a look from every angle and every corner.

What's in the box

ROG labels and stickers (left) for your fans and cables, ROG coasters (middle), installation guide and documentation (right).

Fortifying backplate with AURA RGB lighting built-in and 10th Anniversary logo (perhaps it'll be worth more than what it is now one day... )

OC Socket for unbeatable overclocking of the latest Intel Broadwell-E processors (LGA 2011-V3). Eight DIMMs for a maximum of only 128GB of DDR4 memory.

A plethora of advanced overclocking and diagnostic features such as DIMM Switches, PCIe X16 Lane Switches, Safe Boot, MemOK! and ReTry.

Supports U.2, M.2 (2260/2280/22110), and up to ten SATA III drives!

If you are already a proud owner of a OC Panel or OC Panel II, Rampage V Edition 10 will support them and here is a handy guide to get you started. You can connect to it by a cable going to ROG_EXT. You can connect all your chassis connectors for switches and LEDs to the Q-Connector first before plugging onto the motherboard in one shot. PCH (Platform Controller Hub - pictured on the right) previously known as the Southbridge.

SupremeFX (left) audio and Safe Slot (right) to reinforce the PCIe slots.

Connect the supplied Fan Extension Card to EXT_FAN (pictured left). The Water Pump header and High AMP Fan headers (pictured middle) are onboard. And there are fan headers spread out and placed strategically to help minimize visible cables for a perfect build, as well as temperature sensor headers. The SLI/CFX switch helps by indicating which PCIe slots to place your graphics cards by Aura RGB lighting, this is for the configuration for 2-way and 3-way setups.

Connect to more RGB strips inside or outside of your case to sync with the AURA effects on the motherboard and graphics card(s)!

The Pre-mounted I/O Shield not only makes PC DIY easier, you no longer need to be concerned about the clearance for plugs, the gap between the I/O plate and the motherboard is greatly reduced, it is always perfectly aligned and simply looks great!
