The Mark S Thermal Armor covers the whole board - back and front. The two fans are entirely optional, and are only required in zero-airflow environments.

The rear IO offers four USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, USB BIOS Flashback, dual gigabit Ethernet, six 3.5mm stereo audio jacks and digital optical S/PDIF out.

The flow valves can be adjusted to let air in from the CPU area or closed to divert airflow along when using the extra fans.
