PCPer graphics test bench is working overtime lately, with R9 290X DirectCU II and MARS 760 graphics card reviews dropping in as many days! Both have managed to heavily impress PCPerspective's Ryan Shrout, achieving the prestigious PCPerspective Gold Award each!

MARS 760 Review

Based on two GTX 760 GPUs, PCPer found out that although there are sometimes overheads with multi-GPU technologies which limit the maximum performance of the hardware, the MARS 760 offering smooth and consistent frame rates.

"In my view the ASUS ROG MARS 760 is a fantastic choice for gamers that are going to be gaming on a 2560x1600 or 2560x1440 panel and are looking for an enthusiast-class graphics card to get the job done."

ASUS R9 290X DirectCU II Review

Hot on the heels of yesterday's HardOCP's reveal, PCPer has done a full test run of one of the first, custom AMD R9 290X's on the market. Naturally Ryan's review is extremely details - all features and all functions are covered, particularly the temperature and clock speeds, which have been noted as a key area of improvement over stock R9 290X cards.

"The ASUS R9 290X DirectCU II is one of the best graphics cards I have ever tested in the PC Perspective labs.  It takes a powerful GPU that was first released with a lot of concerns and irons them all out.  This card runs at consistent clock speeds."

Huge praise indeed! Thanks Ryan!
