Dan's Thoughts:
I enjoyed working with the Rampage V Extreme. The experience was absolutely painless from start to finish aside from the watchdog issue while overclocking. The feature set is well thought out and put together. It has both SATA Express and M.2 support, solid overclocking and it’s great for multi-GPU configurations. These are naturally all excellent points in favor of the Rampage V Extreme. Even the onboard audio is probably the best I’ve ever heard. The Rampage V Extreme is aesthetically pleasing as well despite red and black being overdone these days. These are in fact all good reasons for me to use this motherboard in my next build and I might do just that...
Kyle's Thoughts:
My time with the Rampage V Extreme was simply trouble free. Perfect installs and usage at our stock 4.5GHZ/2666MHz testing. When I look back at my notes when I go to write a review conclusion, and I find only 121 words total, I know it is a stellar motherboard.
