ASUS Unveils The GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost DirectCU II
Announced today, the GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost DirectCU II features two versions: an overclocked 1,085MHz GTX 650 Ti core or 1,033MHz 'stock' version. Both are paired with 2GB GDDR5 at 6,008MHz on an upgraded 192-bit interface, making the GTX 650 Ti Boost certainly no slouch, sitting neatly between the GTX 660 and original GTX 650 Ti.
ASUS has added more into the mix as the its GTX 650 Ti Boost DirectCU II also features all-copper heatpipes that directly touch the GPU, allowing it to expedite heat removal for ~20% lower temperatures than those of a comparable reference heatsink design. Two 80mm fans cool the DirectCU II heatsink underneath. Compared to reference, GTX 650 Ti Boost DirectCU II is up to three times quieter, ensuring the sound you'll hear is only from the games you're playing.
Super Alloy Power hardware includes solid state capacitors, concrete-core chokes, and hardened MOSFETs, offering up to 1.5 times the longevity of reference cards and an average overclocking range increase of around 15%. Finally, the bundled ASUS GPU Tweak utility offers a user-friendly interface that opens up versatile adjustments and monitoring. Core and clock speeds, voltages, and fan speeds can be changed instantly, and multiple game-specific profiles may be created to make the most of each title.
