MATRIX R9 290X Clocked to 1575/1700MHz By OCLab.ru
OCLab.ru (Smoke, slamms, Atheros) have overclocked the ROG MATRIX R9 290X to 1575/1700 MHz (6.8GHz effective), making it the fastest GPU frequency to date for R9 series graphics cards!
In the Radeon category of 3DMark11 Performance results, the team also generated the fastest result. The underlying PC included a 5.9GHz Core i7 4960X (at 1.7V), Rampage IV Black Edition and 2.4GHz G.Skill DDR3.
