"In terms of pricing, the Rampage V Extreme is at the top end of the X99 market but that is no surprise given its build quality, features and performance. Without doubt the best X99 board we have used and easily one of the best boards for any platform, ever."

The type of product that will help you break records and give you bragging rights in front of your friends.”

ASUS Rampage V Extreme Review @ OCDRIFT

"In terms of overclocking performance, we would say that it was a breeze working with the Rampage V Extreme. With minimal tweaking applied we managed to squeeze our Core i7-5960X processor to a healthy CPU frequency of 4.5GHz therefore boosting its performance to a higher level. The ability to overclock memory adds another strong point to this motherboard. We were able to overclock our favourite DDR4 memory kits without a hitch. Thanks to the included memory presets in the BIOS, it really made our job done easily."

ASUS Rampage V Extreme Review @ Overclockers

"ASUS definitely went the extra mile with the Rampage V Extreme, and they seemingly never stop providing new features with every motherboard release. While the Rampage V Extreme continues the tradition of being one of the best extreme overclocking motherboards available, it’s now loaded with many of the same features you find on their Maximus and Channel series motherboards."

"In the end, the Rampage V Extreme is an attractive option for extreme overclockers, enthusiasts, and gamers alike. A little something for everyone it seems… Overclockers Approved!"

ASUS Rampage V Extreme Review @ Geektech

"The main aspect of the board is the amount of control you will have over your entire system and even more, the overclocking ability is insane. Basically, nothing will come between you and the best possible performance your system can do and if you have a CPU that can do insane overclocks, you won’t have any trouble getting there with the Rampage V Extreme."
