Swift PG278Q G-Sync Gaming Monitor Review Roundup
ASUS is the first to storm out of the gates with a premium gaming monitor featuring Nvidia G-Sync Technology; a game-changing feature. The Swift PG278Q is not only fast but also big, because for the hardcore gamer; the novelty of Full-HD has passed and long gone; now you don't need to compromise between high resolution and speed. Armed with a WQHD (2560X1440) panel, a ridiculous max refresh rate of 144Hz, G-Sync Technology and ULMB (Ultra Low Blur Reduction, it's going to be real tough trying to distinguish if that is a real fly buzzing around in front of your face when you can now watch ultra-fast motion with such fluidity and clarity (WARNING: Shattered or scratched panels from fly-swatters are not covered under warranty).

"This monitor kicks ass, takes no prisoners, and is one hell of a gaming monitor and would be great for an Eyefinity or Surround setup thanks to its slim bezels."

"With all these features like G-Sync the monitor has huge potential for you guys, the gamers. My advice: you need to personally see it to believe it as no chart or recorded video can display the on-screen G-Sync experience you can only see in a real-world environment with your own eyes, on the actual monitors. So in the near future whenever you get a chance to look at a live demo of this monitor or any G-Sync display in say a computer store, just go for it and spend some time on it. Only once you feel you are convinced on the visual improvement, then its worth the extra money."
"The grand features and design make me believe the monitor deserves our top pick award."

As we've mentioned, the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q has one of the best looking TN panels we have witnessed to date, the monitor's thin bezels make it a great candidate for multi-display configurations, and the display is fully adjustable too, with height, swivel, tilt, and pivot adjustments available."
"When you consider all of the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q's features as a whole, however, its easy to understand why it command a bit of a premium. This is an excellent monitor."

"Having G-Sync enabled on a 27in, 2,560x1,440-resolution monitor makes a lot of sense for gamers who have a GeForce GTX 770/780-class of video card. These GPUs are able to mete out 40-60FPS in visually demanding titles and thus bring the visually smooth advantages of G-Sync very much into their wheelhouse. Once you see G-Sync in action and compare it against a traditional monitor there really is no going back."
"Asus has the best gaming monitor we've ever seen, though you will have to go down the Nvidia GPU path to realise its potential."

"We measured input lag at 10 ms. This is the best we've ever seen on an LCD screen. Even expert gamers won't notice the lag."

ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q Review @ tom's HARDWARE
"From the tone of this review, you can probably tell we’re excited about G-Sync. It’s the first revolutionary display technology we've seen in a very long time. Advances in host and graphics processing performance are so frequent that they're practically predictable. But to see something totally new from a monitor is a rare and exotic treat."
