Danish hardware website, Tweak.dk, has run the Maximus IV GENE-Z and Sabertooth X79 through its testing regime, with the Maximus scoring 97% and the team stating that "It is not least the possibility of overclocking and initiatives aimed towards gamers which characterizes this motherboard." Meanwhile the Sabertooth scored 92%, with Tweak.dk commenting, "This is a motherboard that will not disappoint you and we are therefore very pleased to recommend ASUS Sabertooth X79".
