WarGaming's World Of Warplanes Officially Takes Off
Popular even during its open-beta stage, WarGaming's free-to-play air-combat MMO, World of Warplanes is now officially launched. With over 4.5 million players in beta testing, the game is definitely looking to top WarGaming's super-successful World of Tanks.
Based on pretty much the same concept as the World of Tanks, WarGaming's World of Warplanes takes the combat action to the air with over 100 different types of aircraft from USA, USSR, Germany, Great Britain and Japan - many more to come - the World of Warplanes offers you an opportunity to fly in some iconic aircraft including Supermarine Spitfire or the Messerschmitt Bf. 109.
The official release of World of Warplanes also brings the new Unified Premium Account to Wargaming, which basically means that the premium account bought for World of Tanks is also valid in World of Warplanes, and vice-versa.
In order to celebrate the launch of the new World of Warplanes game, Wargaming has launched a special contest, the First to the Top, offering impressive prizes including 10 years of premium account to those that reach Tier X first.
