World Record: Dancop Reaches 3111 Marks on XTU with i7-5960X & Rampage V Extreme
Dancop, the german overclocking maestro who is number 1 in the HWBOT overclockers League has done it! He broke the World Record (again) on XTU benchmark previously held by Dinos22 since June 2015, while surpassing 3100 marks!
Using the same golden CPU as the one he used to obtain his previous scores a few months ago, he pushed the performance of his Intel i7-5960X on the Rampage V Extreme beyond expectations.
To achieve this score, Dancop used (only) 25 liters of LN2 and a few restarts of his system. He adjusted the CPU core ratio as well as the memory timing, to ensure the best results possible he put the CPU on cold as well as the memory. For him, it was the first time he run LN2 with the HyperX DDR4 memory kit.
One of the Dancop's tricks for XTU is to run the benchmark twice in a row without moving the mouse whatsoever, and once finished - start over again immediately.
