ASUS Announces Echelon GTX 950 Limited Edition

When overkill is the minimum requirement, this could also fit that description depending on your game or genre. When you want premium military-grade components, DirectCU II cooling, fortifying backplate and AUTO-EXTREME technology, but to summon beasts such as an ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti for some games is like squishing a fly with an elephant (overkill of this magnitude is still quite satisfying to say the least). Now you can get those features and technologies on the new ASUS Echelon GTX 950 Limited Edition

Enthusiasts who value aesthetics as much as performance will find the Echelon GTX 950 to have the attention it deserves in this respect, and it will look great in various types of builds with the arctic camouflage design color scheme and metal backplate. As for performance, this is powered by an NVIDIA GTX 950 clocked at 1140MHz (base clock) / 1329MHz (boost  clock) which translates to about 10% more performance compared to reference, with plenty of headroom considering the amount of cooling this has. Echelon GTX 950 has been outfitted with DirectCU II with dual-ball-bearing fans for four times the lifespan, flattened copper heatpipes which make direct contact with the GPU to double the heat-dissipation area, the result is a card that is 20% cooler and three times quieter. Premium military-grade TUF components provide better heat dissipation, and in turn better overclockability and longevity. The premium components are also necessary for the new manufacturing process called Auto-Extreme technology, this involves an industry-first 100% automated production process.  The advantage is that the quality of each card is consistently better (especially for overclocking), the process is environmentally friendly as harsh chemicals are no longer necessary and power consumption is cut in half, even all of the pins on the back of the PCBs are removed so it's perfectly smooth.
