ASUS Announces RT-AC3200 WiFi Router: Six Antenna, Twin Tri-Band (3x3) 802.11ac networks, Realtime AiProtection
The RT-AC3200 is an ultra-fast, tri-band router that features twin 3x3 802.11ac networks in addition to a 2.4GHz network. To make the most of its hardware, it has tri-band Smart Connect for intelligent band assignment for maximum device performance. Briefly explained: typically a WiFi network (either 5GHz or 2.4GHz) will operate at the speed of the slowest connected device, but with two identical 5GHz networks the router will intelligently split high performing (PCs or notebooks) from lower performing (phones and tablets) devices. And as you'd expect from its six antennas; it has class-leading coverage and and performance.
Other key features include ASUS AiRadar with universal beam-forming, adaptive Quality of Service (QoS), AiProtection with exclusive Trend Micro security and the brand-new Traffic Analyzer.
Traffic Analyzer is an exclusive and new ASUSWRT feature that gives users an at-a-glance view of what’s happening on the network over a choice of timescales (day/week/month). Users can see immediately how much bandwidth each user, device or application has used, helping them to reduce internet connection bottlenecks (or, in an ROG gamer's case - prioritize your own gaming for network performance!) Traffic Analyzer is also great for parents who want to keep an eye on their children’s internet usage, or for small businesses who need to monitor employees’ internet activity.
