ASUS ROG Announces ROG Maximus VIII Impact

Since the launch of the new Z170 series of motherboards, you have been asking for the ROG Maximus VIII Impact.   Well, it was in the final stages of being tweaked to perfection with the latest ASUS-exclusive technologies, so that this my friend is the best Maximus Impact ever, in fact, we challenge you to find a better mini-ITX gaming motherboard.

Cooling is critical when it comes to small builds since all the components are so tightly packed together. Again, this requires high-end components and sufficient cooling, the bundled fan extension card allows for more fans which you can monitor and control intelligently.

In the audio department, SupremeFX Impact III is featured with exciting new LED-illuminated audio jacks and Sonic SenseAmp will detect the impedance of your earphone or headphones automatically (up to 6000ohms)!  For connectivity, you can expect no less than 802.11ac Wi-Fi with all-new MU-MUMO, built-in so you don't waste any USB ports, USB 3.1 Gen. 2 Type-A and reversible Type-C connections for up to twice the speed of USB 3.0, and the built-in U.2 connector delivers transfer speeds of up to 32Gbit/s!
